The After-School Program
The After-School Program (ASP) at New Day is designed to foster cognitive, emotional, social, and spiritual growth. We come alongside families’ values in order to encourage positive character development and academic achievement, while creating meaningful, Biblical learning experiences.
The After-School Program operates out of New Day’s main building located at 109 South Street in the Kernville area of Johnstown. The 2017/2018 After-School Program serves children in first grade through high school. During their time at New Day students are served supper, experience an interactive Bible lesson, receive homework help, and have opportunity to participate in a variety of activities offered throughout the year. These activities include but are not limited to: dance, drama, art, choir, piano, basketball skills, and playing organized games in New Day’s full-sized gym.
